Jo Massey

Jo has had over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Structural Engineer.

She has worked with London and rural practices on a wide range of new, historic and refurbishment projects, both domestic and commercial.

Jo’s most recent projects include adding a two storey apartment to the roof of an early 20^th century warehouse, refurbishment of a fire damaged grade II* thatched cottage and the design of a school sports hall and swimming pool with associated drainage and astroturf sports pitch. Jo also has experience of inspection and analysis of masonry arch bridges.

Jo is a STEM ambassador and enthusiastic about inspiring children (and particularly girls) to consider careers in engineering. She is an active member of the Institution of Structural Engineer’s Education Committee and the Bath University Civil Engineering and Architecture Industrial Liaison Panel.
